Our Mission

Rain of Freedom Church seeks to generate a body of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and to teach, train, and equip to promote the word of God according to Matthew 28:18-20 to all people; and as a church, gather to pray, share fellowship, and do outreach to the greater community.

Welcome to Rain of Freedom Church! It is our privilege to have you worship the Lord Jesus with us.

We are a family of “real” people who love God and wish to share that love with you. Our desire for you today is that you would open your heart and let the presence of the Holy Spirit minister to you in a whole new way.

About Us

Pastor Jody and I are lifelong residents of Rhode Island. We both grew up in Pawtucket and attended the public schools in the area.

We met in 1980 and quickly fell in love. Striving for earthly success, we struggled with the everyday battles for love and acceptance. These struggles led both of us down a long road of alcohol abuse.

In 1998, on the verge of divorce, I decided I needed a change and walked into a small church in Central Falls. It’s there that I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and Pastor Jody followed two years later. We have been loyal followers of Christ ever since.

Pastor Jody is a graduate of the Brian School of the Bible, Global University and has been Pastoring Rain of Freedom Church since September 2012.

Rain of Freedom was blessed to purchase the building we call home at 33 Bouvier Avenue, Manville RI 02838 in September 2018. We have an amazing “Family” of believers and would love to meet you if you decide to join us.
